ADMINISTRATIVE MATTERS & MINUTES REVIEW :

Call To Order:

President Called Meeting to Order at 7:00 PM.

Regarding Roofing Materials; Add on to house on Quince Orchard behind OK.

  • Minutes from Annual Meeting in January were read and approved.
  • The next hearing for the PGC special exception request is scheduled for Wednesday, April 15 at 9:30 AM.
  • The Board will do a complete walk-through of Single Family and Town homes in the spring.
  • Eileen will contact PSE re additional costs of adding a second light on the path near the tot lot on Blackberry Drive.
  • The bill for snow removal to date is $2112.
  • Kara will work to update the filing of OK documents.
  • ABS has been asked if they could update our reserve funds plan, they do not offer this service.  Mohammad will ask Alberg & Co. if they can do it.
  • Discussion of whether to send a letter to town homes regarding parking on the sidewalk.
  • Diane Tillery will resume patrolling the community.
  • Discussion and Presentation of alternative roofing materials for the current cedar.  Newer materials are less costly and last longer.
    1. By-laws/covenants will need to be changed for this action.
    2. Kara will look into the process of changing the covenants regarding a change of approved materials.
    3. To see composite roofing materials, can check out Muddy Branch Shopping Center
    4. To see an original cedar roof that has had proper maintenance (washing and sealing) over the years see the roof on the 7th house down from Route 28.
